Đảo ngữ C2 thêm gì so với C1?
Ở C1 bạn đã đảo ngữ sau never, rarely, not only. C2 thêm các mẫu của văn viết trang trọng. Nguyên tắc không đổi: đưa cụm nhấn mạnh lên đầu câu, rồi trợ động từ đứng trước chủ ngữ như câu hỏi (không có dấu hỏi).
- So / Such … that: mức độ dẫn tới kết quả.
- Little: “hoàn toàn không” biết, ngờ, nhận ra.
- Only after / when / by, Not until: chỉ khi đó việc kia mới xảy ra.

Quy tắc cần nhớ
- Đảo ở mệnh đề chính; mệnh đề sau Only after / when / Not until giữ trật tự thường: Only after the guests had left did she relax.
- Câu không có trợ động từ thì mượn do / does / did, động từ chính về nguyên mẫu: Little did he know, không Little knew he.
- So đi với tính từ / trạng từ; Such đứng một mình, be chia theo danh từ phía sau: Such were the risks that…
- Little hay đi với know, realise, suspect, imagine.

Lỗi hay gặp
Sai: Only after the meeting ended we understood the problem.
Đúng: ✓ Only after the meeting ended did we understand the problem.
Only after đứng đầu → mệnh đề chính đảo: did + S + V.
Sai: Not until did the rain stop we left the house.
Đúng: ✓ Not until the rain stopped did we leave the house.
Đảo nhầm mệnh đề: đảo ở mệnh đề chính, không đảo sau Not until.
Sai: Little they knew about the risks.
Đúng: ✓ Little did they know about the risks.
Little đầu câu cần did trước chủ ngữ, động từ về nguyên mẫu.
Sai: So the exam was difficult that many students failed.
Đúng: ✓ So difficult was the exam that many students failed.
Tính từ đi liền So lên đầu câu, rồi be + chủ ngữ.
